IPCOS’ Methanol Solutions consist of reformer and synthesis control applications and/or separation section optimization. The reformer and synthesis control applications typically consist of a combination of smart DCS controls, and INCA Advanced Process Control Technology. The separation section of the Methanol plant is typically optimized using INCA APC technology. In addition, downstream production units such as DME units can be included in the scope of the application, for full optimization, or only to include constraints downstream that impact the operation of your Methanol production facility.

Whether or not our solution for your Methanol plant consists of reformer and synthesis control applications, separation control applications, or both, totally depends on your current operation and constraints.
