PlantTriage® is more than a performance monitor system. It’s a total solution that enables maintenance and process engineers to do the whole work process from monitoring, analyzing, diagnosing and fixing the process within one environment. It results in a steady and continuous improvement of the product quality, costs,  throughput, and waste reduction in process plants.

One single PlantTriage server can be connected to multiple DCS/PLC systems an can check the performance of up to 2000 loops simulataniously. Multiple users can analyse the PlantTriage reports.

 

 

The results of Multiple PlantTriage systems can be combined such that the performance of a complete production site can be monitored. Multiple site PlantTriage systems can be combined to one global corporation performance monitoring system.

 

 

 

IPCOS value proposition with regard to PlantTriage

IPCOS offers more than just the installation of PlantTriage. We offer a phased approach starting with a feasibility study, the installation of PlantTriage up to the complete analysis of the results and the correcting actions needed to optimize the plant performance. The different phases are listed below:

 

  • Pre feasibility study & site survey
  • Installation and commissioning of OPC connectivity (if applicable)
  • Installation and commissioning of PID control performance monitoring software (i.e. PlantTriage)
  • Performance assessments and services:
    • Phase - I: Consulting services for performance assessment of PID loops, existing complex control structures, recommendation on remedial actions and preliminary benefit estimation.
    • Phase - II: Consulting & engineering services for loop tuning and detailed design of modified or new control structures.
    • Phase - III: Services for supervision of installation, commissioning, testing and condition monitoring of modified or new control structures on DCS.
